【摘要】:1.1.1Thiscodeshallapplytotheconstruction,handling,anduseoffireworksandequipmentintendedforoutdoorfireworksdisplay.Italsoshallapplytothegeneralconductandoperationofthedisplay.(Seedefinition1.4.21,FireworksDisplay.)1.1.2Thiscodeshallnotapplytothemanufacture,transportation,orstorageoffireworksatamanufacturingfacility.Similarly,thiscodeshallnotapplytothetestingoffireworksunderthedirectionofitsmanufacturer,providedpermissionforsuchtestinghasbeenobtainedfromtheauthorityhavingjurisdiction,whichshallbeinaccordancewithNFPA1124,CodefortheManufacture,Transportation,andStorageofFireworksandPyrotechnicArticles.1.1.3Thiscodeshallnotapplytotheuseofconsumerfireworksbythegeneralpublic.1.1.4Thiscodeshallnotapplytothetransportation,handling,oruseoffireworksbythearmedforcesoftheUnitedStates.1.1.5Thiscodeshallnotapplytothetransportation,handling,oruseofindustrialpyrotechnicdevicesorfireworks,suchasrailroadtorpedoes,fusees,automotive,aeronautical,andmarineflares,andsmokesignals.1.1.6ThiscodeshallnotapplytotheuseofpyrotechnicdevicesormaterialsintheperformingartsatdistanceslessthanthosespecifiedinthiscodeandusedinconformancewithNFPA1126,StandardfortheUseofPyrotechnicsbeforeaProximateAudience.1.1.7ThiscodeshallnotapplytotheuseofflamespecialeffectsintheperformingartswhenusedinconformancewithNFPA160,StandardforFlameEffectsbeforeanAudience.1.1.8Thiscodeshallnotapplytothesaleanduseofmodelrockets,modelrocketmotors,motorreloadingkits,pyrotechnicmodules,orcomponentsusedinconformancewithNFPA1122,CodeforModelRocketry,orotherpropulsiondevicesasclassifiedbytheU.S.DepartmentofTransportationasRocketMotors(UN0186),orCartridges,powerdevice(UN0275).1.1.9Thiscodeshallnotapplytotheuseofexplosives,firearms,orflammablespecialeffectsusedinmotionpictures,television,orotherentertainmentindustries.
