【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodisusedtoevaluatetheresistanceofmaterialsusedinprotectiveclothingtopenetrationbysyntheticbloodunderconditionsofcontinuousliquidcontact.Protectiveclothingpass/faildeterminationsarebasedonvisualdetectionofsyntheticbloodpenetration.1.1.1Thistestmethodisnotalwayseffectiveintestingprotectiveclothingmaterialshavingthick,innerlinerswhichreadilyabsorbthesyntheticblood.1.2ThistestmethodisameansforselectingprotectiveclothingmaterialsforsubsequenttestingwithamoresophisticatedbarriertestasdescribedinTestMethodF1671.1.3Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytoallformsorconditionsofblood-bornepathogenexposure.Usersofthetestmethodmustreviewmodesforwork/clothingexposureandassesstheappropriatenessofthistestmethodfortheirspecificapplication.1.4Thistestmethodaddressesonlytheperformanceofmaterialsorcertainmaterialconstructions(forexample,seams)usedinprotectiveclothing.Thistestmethoddoesnotaddressthedesign,overallconstructionandcomponents,orinterfacesofgarments,orotherfactorswhichmayaffecttheoverallprotectionofferedbytheprotectiveclothing.1.5ThevaluesinSIunitsorotherunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
