【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoverstheselectionoftestconditionsforacceleratedexposuretestingofcoatingsandrelatedproductsinfilteredopen-flamecarbon-arcdevicesconductedaccordingtoPracticesG151andG152.Thispracticealsocoversthepreparationoftestspecimens,thetestconditionssuitedforcoatings,andtheevaluationoftestresults.describescommonlyusedtestconditions.Note1Previousversionsofthispracticereferencedcarbon-arcdevicesdescribedbyPracticeG23,whichdescribedveryspecificequipmentdesigns.PracticeG23hasbeenwithdrawnandreplacedbyPracticeG151,whichdescribesperformancecriteriaforallexposuredevicesthatuselaboratorylightsources,andbyPracticeG152,whichgivesrequirementsforexposingnonmetallicmaterialsinfilteredopenflamecarbon-arcdevices.1.2Thispracticedoesnotcoverenclosedcarbon-arcexposuresofpaintsandrelatedcoatings,whichisdescribedinPracticeD5031.AnotherprocedureforexposingtheseproductsiscoveredbyPracticeD3361,inwhichthespecimensaresubjectedtoradiationfromanunfilteredopen-flamecarbonarcthatproducesshorterwavelengthsandhigherlevelsofshortwavelengthradiationthanfilteredopen-flameorenclosedcarbonarcs.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
