【摘要】:Aknowledgeofthewatercontentofcrudeoilisimportantintherefining,purchase,sale,ortransferofcrudeoils.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofwaterintherangefrom0.02to5massorvolume%incrudeoils.Mercaptan(RSH)andsulfide(Sx2212;orH2S)assulfurareknowntointerferewiththistestmethod,butatlevelsoflessthan500x03BC;g/g(ppm),theinterferencefromthesecompoundsisinsignificant(seeSection5).1.2Thistestmethodcanbeusedtodeterminewaterinthe0.005to0.02mass%range,buttheeffectsofthemercaptanandsulfideinterferenceattheselevelshasnotbeendetermined.1.3ThistestmethodisintendedforusewithstandardcommerciallyavailablecoulometricKarlFischerreagent.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection7.
