【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardgivesguidelinesforbackgroundinformationandgivesguidanceontheselection,installation,useandmaintenanceofelectricalapparatususedforthedirectdetectionanddirectconcentrationmeasurementoftoxicgasesandvapoursinworkplaceair.ItisconcernedwithapparatuswhoseprimarypurposeistoindicatethepresenceandconcentrationofatoxicgasorvapourtoprovidearapidindicationorwarningofthepresenceofatoxichazardwithinatimeofresponseasspecifiedinaccordancewithEN45544-2andEN45544-3.Itappliesto:-personal,portable,transportableandfixedapparatus;-apparatuswherethepresenceofagasorvapourcausesanautomaticallygeneratedelectricalsignal;-apparatusintendedtoprovideanindication,alarmand/orotheroutputfunction,whosepurposeistogiveawarningofpotentialtoxichazardandinsomecasestoinitiateautomaticormanualprotectiveactions.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotintended,butcanprovideusefulinformation,forthefollowing:-apparatususedforthemeasurementofoxygendeficiencywhichcanaffecthumanhealth;-apparatususedforthemeasurementofcombustiblegasesandvapoursoroxygenrelatedtotheriskofexplosion(seeEN50073);-apparatusoflaboratoryorscientifictypeusedonlyforanalysisormeasurementpurposes;-apparatususedonlyforprocesscontrolapplications;-apparatususedforundergroundminingapplications;-apparatususedinthedomesticenvironment;-apparatususedforenvironmentalairpollutionmonitoring;-openpathapparatusnotusedforpointmeasurement.
